Dear Walid, you told me you would like to see real snow. I hope one day you and your brother Wassim and your baba will be in Amsterdam and can feel the snow for yourself. I have to warn you: it looks pretty but it really gives you cold feet.
This is the street where I live, it just started to snow. Not at Christmas, as it should. But the day after.
I wish you and your family and everybody in Gaza a very good, a much better New Year, with peace and happiness.
PS And now it started to really snow. Yesterday the trains couldn’t run, cars couldn’t drive it was difficult to walk so everybody stays home as much as possible to keep their feet warm and not fall down.
